Once a measure initiative is passed, it becomes a piece of legislation called an ordinance. The special tax dollars authorized by the Measure L ordinance are allocated and managed under Lighting and Landscaping Maintenance Fund (aka the L&L Maintenance Fund). 

The CCSD Board of Directors established a commission made up of community members, as well as volunteers, who are tasked with advising on the maintenance program and ensuring that the work stays on track and within budget. Four people now serve on this commission, and one seats is open. If interested in being considered for an L&L commission position, please apply here.

While the CIA was the driving force behind Measure L, it is the CCSD that manages the L&L Maintenance Fund.
